I love finding other Doctor Who related cakes, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one that does Doctor Who Baking! 😛 This is definitely one of the best that I’ve seen (seriously, how did they do it??). I can’t take credit for finding it though, that has to go to @ellanorlovecake (actually it’s her fault that I learnt to bake in the first place, so here’s a good place to blame her for my obsession!), my best friend who lives in Hetford, Hertfordshire .
This last half term Hertford had a Doctor Who trail through the town where all of the shops did displays in their windows related to the show. It was to coinside with the Doctor Who activities at Hertford Museum. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to go and check it out, but it all sounds rather cool.
Anyways, Linda Smith from The Sugar Smith made this fantastic Face of Boe cake for the shop’s display:

Thanks to @ellanorlovecake for taking the pics for me. You can check out the website for her soon to open cake business here: http://www.ellanorscakes.co.uk/

I don’t bake Dr. Who but I sure talk about it lots on my blog. I don’t know, I think you may have inspired me a bit 🙂 The Face of Boe cake is pretty awesome. Love your gingerbread Doctors and Companions!
awww thanks! 😀
The Boe cake is amazing, isn’t it? Have been inspired by that myself. Working on designing some bigger cakes at the moment 🙂
